Divine Rage

Peter huddled down close to Gabriel so he could whisper without being overheard.

"Still in a bad mood then?"

The heavens roiled with thick black cloud, sundered by the bright flash of lightning, sky ringing to the din of crashing thunder.

"A bit." Gabriel confirmed.

"Drama queen." St. Peter said. "Creates the entire universe in six days, and he's making this much of a fuss about fifty thousand words in a month."

Not doing NaNo myself, but reading the efforts of others convinces me that creating the universe is easier.

    "Drama queen." Hah!

  8. I won about ten minutes ago. Almost 50k on the nose. Ending isn't what I would have wanted but it'll do.

  9. Great news, dude! It looks like you sat up until the wee hours to finish the thing. You'll be dragging your arse at work today I'll bet!

I am hoping to creep across the line late this afternoon. Leaving things to the last minute per usual. I'm sure that yours will edit up nicely. My whole thing ended up not being what I wanted...sort of lacking something, maybe a lot of things. Glad to see that you stuck it out, your numbers were a bit low at the start of the month.

  10. Took today off work. Been asleep most of afternoon. Prolly going back to bed soon.

Don't know about you, but this was the first long scale piece of work that I've started that had an actual beginning, middle and end. I'm quite pleased about finishing something like that, with only a couple of plot holes that never went anywhere.
